ARTIST - ALEKSANDR NOSOV
ALEKSANDR NOSOV (1949-2020) was a student of Vladimir Sterligov, who was in his turn student of Kasimir Malevich. A member of Union of Artists in Russia and IFA. His works are part of the collection of State Russian Museum of St. Petersburg, Museum of History in St. Petersburg, Museum of Contemporary Art of Russian Academy of Arts in Moscow, further state collectors of Kolumna, Pushkin, Samara, and a row of private collections in Russia, Europe and Israel. He is famous for his pastel works, and is often called as “Russian de Staël”.
